Join us for a fun filled day at Killingly's Great Tomato Festival
SEPTEMBER 9, 9-2 PM DAVIS PARK, KILLINGLY, CT
FILLED WITH FUN, EXCITEMENT, CHALLENGES, ART, GOOD FOOD AND AGRICULTURAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.
This year there will be a PARADE down Main St. starting at 10:30. The theme for the parade is "Our Town". Participation is open to entrees from surrounding towns. Enter a float or a marching unit. CONTESTS OF ALL KINDS:
Chili Cook-off - Local Churches and organizations will be submitting their famous chili for review by the general public for a "Peoples Choice" award. You can be a judge. Stop by the "Chili Cook-off booth to taste and vote.

FUN ACTIVITIES ALL DAY LONG
Crafts - set up at several locations for the young ones to be creative.
Bean Bag Toss
Decorate Mr. & Mrs. Tomato Head - at the Killingly Grange Booth.
Entertainment - several local artists will be performing. Plan on listening to at 11:00 to Bill Somers performing some acoustic folk and classics. From 12-2, you can enjoy the sounds of Johnny Press Mess.
Several organizations will set up at the Festival to share information about agriculture, food and the environment.

This time of the year we are busy planning for Killingly's Great Tomato Festival, held annually in Davis Park. It includes a parade, many activities for kids and families, contests of all kinds, an arts & craft fair, live entertainment, a farmers market and loads of food vendors.
